April is an experienced professional with over 20 plus years of financial knowledge. As a series 6 licensed broker and financial adviser, she assisted her clients with retirement, college and financial planning, as well as investing to obtain their ultimate goals.

 

She has worked at such large financial firms as T. Rowe Price, Citigroup, and Morgan Stanley. She has also been the chief financial executive at both Georgetown University and the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on various auxiliary service contracts worth in excess of $350 million dollars collectively.

 

After leaving her management position on Wall Street to pursue entrepreneurial goals, she decided to dedicate her passions to helping others reach their financial and career objectives creating a holistic business consulting firm. April loves to help others see the possibilities in the seemingly impossible and is a driven professional with an innovative spirit.

 

She is a senior accountant and certified tax preparer, notary for the state of Maryland in addition to a FDIC trained Facilitator, Adjunct Instruction for various Maryland and DC area institutions of higher education, Junior Achievement Youth Financial Coach as well as a Legislative Advocate for Women Impacting Public Policy. She has worked tirelessly with many notable small business organizations in an effort to help minority as well  as women own businesses bridge the gap between success and failure. Her specialized experience includes Sarbanes Oxley Auditing, Financial Analysis, Human Resource Management as well as organizational S.W.O.T reviews. April continues to train, motivate and inspire many. She is a proud mother to a 22 year old vibrant young man.
